Our Lady of the Angels and Our Lady of the Valley parishes serve worshipers in the Roman Catholic tradition in central Vermont. Our parishes are part of the Diocese of Burlington, VT. Our bishop is the Most Reverend Christopher James Coyne, D.D., S.L.D.
Our Lady of the Angels and Our Lady of the Valley parishes are comprised of three churches, all served by one administrator, our pastor, the Reverend Father Scott A. Gratton. Two of the churches comprise Our Lady of the Valley parish. These are the churches of St. Anthony (Bethel VT) and St. Elizabeth (Rochester VT), two original 'mission' churches, dating back to the early 1900s.
Our Lady of the Angels church was constructed in 2007 and consecrated in 2008. It is the largest Catholic church in the area. The original church, Sts. Donatian & Rogatian, now a private home, is one of the oldest Catholic church in central Vermont. For more information on our churches, click here.
Through our Knights of Columbus Councils and Our Catholic Daughters of America chapter, the parishes serve our communities and the surrounding areas. We nurture the Catholic faith through our Good Shepherd CCD program and bring to the faith those interested in becoming a Catholic through the adult R.C.I.A. program.
Both parishes hold a variety of events throughout the year. The large Parish Hall at Our Lady o the Angels church can be rented for meetings, conferences, receptions, and other events. The entire building is ADA-compliant.
We welcome all residents and visitors to our church for worship. Celebrate all the sacraments with us! We love our summer visitors and ‘leap-peeper’ guests and look forward to seeing you each year.
We’ll see you in the Eucharist!
